Children’s Church
At EPWC we have three Children’s Church classes separated by age. The Littles are age 3-7, the Middles 8-12 and the Teens 13-18. Our program takes place during the latter half of Sunday’s service when our children and youth are dismissed for class. We foster a friendly and safe environment as our teachers are dedicated to educating and empowering your child in the Word of the Lord. At EPWC, our focus is the growth of your child; Proverbs 22:6 NIV says “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”
Bring your children to Sunday’s service at EPWC and we’ll make sure that they grow into the next generation of Christian soldiers. 1 Timothy 4:12 NIV says “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity” so at EPWC we’re sure to showcase and strengthen your children’s talents. Our focus on the growth of our youth is driven by our goal to ensure that your children understand God’s blessings on their lives. At EPWC we are a family and each member of our classes knows that they are loved.
The Littles (Ages 3-7)
In this age group we show our littles ones just how fun it is to be a friend of God. We teach short lessons that will help your children understand that Jesus’ love is for all of us and so it is important that we understand it and share it with the world. We create an environment that facilitates the production and growth of those important first friendships your child is making in this age range and ensure your child is loved. We sing, we dance, we do arts and crafts and we play all for the glory of the Lord.
The Middles (8-12)
We recognize that early adolescence is an important time to know and understand God so we work hard to educate your children in foundational bible lessons. From “How to Pray” to Heroes of the Bible, our core curriculum will help build your child’s knowledge of Christ. We outline the resources your children need to give Christian responses to life’s tough questions and do our best to answer them. We make sure that your children see and understand what it means to be a Christian and we foster their developing minds.
Teens (13-18)
Being a teenager in 2020 is unlike ever before but God’s word remains the same. In every aspect of their lives, teens feel pressure to conform to the values of their peers and the secular world. At EPWC, we’ve recognized a need to ensure that our teens understand today’s trending topics in a way that is consistent with the doctrines of Christ. In this age group, we emphasize evangelism and salvation as growth in Christianity demands the sharing of the word. We encourage our teens to discover God personally and in a way that is genuine so that they may find the joy of a friendship with God. We equip our teens to answer and combat the tough questions life poses and facilitate an awesome transition into a long life of Christianity.
